Two Weeks for Toussaints

Sorry I've yet to post anything about the eurotrip that was. In short, it would be too long for me to go into detail. So I've decided it best if you let the pictures do most of the talking.

All in all, it was an immensely successful trip. From Thouars to Paris to Brussels to Bruges back to Brussels to Amsterdam to Berlin to Prague to Kutna Hora back to Prague to Budapest to Poitiers to La Rochelle to Thouars. We somehow made it to all of these cities without missing a train, not to say that we didn't spring the streets of Berlin once we found out the metro was under construction or through the streets of rural Czech Republic when we had no idea where our bus was the left in 2 minutes.

The people we met were mostly friendly, a slew of Canadians, Brits, a handful of Americans, and single doses of Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, New Zealand, Russia and Slovakia (didn't know they traveled westward).

The food drink was excellent, impossible to say that it's better than what you could find in France, but the prices are not all too bad when your currency exchanges 288 to 1 (in Hungary, for example).

Each city had its own unique flavor, and with that flavor begs the question, which city did I prefer? Well, like most subjective questions, there can't be a definitive answer. They each had their advantages and disadvantages and reasons to love and hate their regimes.

Here are a few superlatives to settle the differences:
City I'd most like to work in - Brussels
City I'd most like to live in - Amsterdam
City I'd most like to study in - Bruges
City I'd most like to party in - Berlin
City I'd most like to film my next Hollywood Blockbuster - Prague
City I'd most like to attend church in - Kutna Hora
City I'd most like to bathe in - Budapest

  1. Agreed about Berlin, when we left the club at 9 am and were going back to our hotel on the metro, it was surreal watching my brother avoid relieving himself right next to Berliners on their way to work. We should do a group trip there sometime
